Rick Padden joined the Blue Tree team in May of 2012, opting to work in the savvy, market-responsive environment created by Randy Nelson in his independent, locally-owned office.
Rick worked over 30 years in the newspaper industry as a writer, editor, photographer, designer and information systems manager – directing various departments at large and small newspapers in Colorado, Indiana, Illinois, Hawaii and the U.S. possession of Guam. He has a B.S. in journalism from the University of Kansas; is a produced playwright; has acted on stage and in films throughout Northern Colorad; and is co-owner of downtown Loveland’s Kitchen Alley retail store.
He and his wife Rocky are insatiable house-hunters, and Rick decided to apply that passion to a new career – helping others buy and sell properties. He’s excited to put his knowledge and enthusiasm to work in Northern Colorado’s dynamic, rapidly-evolving market.
